Intention
In the International Fund for Animal Welfare public service announcement, an elephant comes in for a landing in the style of a jumbo jet...making the point that travelers should think twice before purchasing souvenirs made from animal products.
Director Ismail Acar is an animation & computer graphics supervisor at George Lucas' company "Industrial Light and Magic."
Among other movies he worked on: Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men's Chest, Transformers and Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.
He also served as Director, Writer and Producer on Fanatik. He has received several Academy Award Nominations and won an Academy Award for "Pirates of the Caribbean."
The piece won audience-award at Spotlight-Festival in Germany, finalist at ADC Awards, Germany, Bronze-Award at ADC-Awards New York, and was additionally nominated in five categories from New York Festival. | |
