Hot Town is a take on the rhythmic stylings of old cartoons, in this instance taking inspiration from 'Hot Town' by Fess Williams and his Royal Flush Orchestra - combining traditional 2D, stop motion, wall paint, projected drawing and other forms of compositing, all shot on a Canon digital slr, Hot Town takes it all in to create some old style jitterbug fodder.
Fabian Dores Pais' 'Hot Town' was the winner of the Portable Film Festival Closing Film Competition on Eyeka, chosen from over a hundred entries.
