Brief
We fly behind an otherworldly moth as it interacts with Danielle Stech-Homsy as she performs "The Umbrella".
This moth's eye view film leads the viewer through an American western desert landscape amongst striking sunsets, beautiful clouds and wondrous plains. The moth is drawn to Stech-Homsy, who dressed as a native of these parts, sings melodically leaving not only the moth entranced.
The film has an aura of mystery as the flutter of the moth upon a pink sky creates a surreal and dreamy state. In such a serene and picturesque setting, the thought of being reincarnated as a Californian moth seems a desirable prospect.
Director Eli Stonberg is a music video director, who has worked for Bjork, Sia, Rio En Medio and Iglu & Hartly.
