Brief
'Heartbeat' is a music video by Late of the Pier directed by Megaforce.
A classy video, it opens with the band digging into a grave to uncover a baby, who becomes the band's vocalist, who (through crafty video effects) repetitively pushes himself out of screen.
Directors Megaforce then rotate the screen pushing Late of the Pier into different stratospheres and landscapes. This clip seems to have everything as the band appears in symmetrically designed spaces that have an arty Nathan Barley edge.
After more space travel the band return top a black and white tiled room for an explosive ending to fast-paced visually compelling 3 minutes.

sensational band, very
unique sound and vocals.
That being said, this
video compliments them
nicely. It's all very
clever and impressive.
