'Tell me what you do' begins with an elderly man returning home in soltiude. He looks to a picture of his wife showing that the companion he once had no longer exists. The film documents the man's vices as he unlocks a box in the kitchen in an attempt to cure his boredom. Alcohol, cigarettes, chocolate and pornography lie inside and the man takes place on his couch indulging in these things that have been forbidden knocking over the picture of his wife as he delves deeper into despair.
An outburst informs us that his wife has left him after 30 years of trying to get him to change his ways. He is completely lost without her and needs to know what he must do. 'Tell me what to do' is a sad tale of growing old alone and loneliness can make one lose their way.
