Intention
Looking for a Thrill is a collection of personal stories about defining musical moments of inspiration (a record, a show, a musician etc) for musicians who themselves have inspired so many. Directed by Braden King, Portable Film Festival is excited to invite viewers into the minds of musical genius.
It was the Orpheum Theatre, Memphis, early in the summer of 1979 that provides the traumatic example of all that music can be about... according to Kurt Wagner of Lambchop. All the ingredients of a great rock myth: anarchy, fear, too many cops, and a crazy lead singer....
