'The time machine' is a timelapse / stop motion music video project accompanied by the thought provoking music track 'time to be taken' by Bristol based folkster Rory Nunn.
Director Paul Stevenson's visionary idea required one continuous 12 hour take on super8 film, sunrise to sunset with a 360 degree horizontally rotating pan on a very cold and windy March morning.
During the continuous 12 hour day, seemingly inanimate objects such as trees and shadows spring to life as musician Rory, Paul and friends painstakingly 'slow' time to animate themselves, stop-motion style within the ever moving filming environment.
