Wonderful film. I love
the pacing and colour.
You have a great ability
to capture the less
obvious aspects of a
scene. Definitely scores
a 5 for me.

"A Day in Varanasi" is
an amazing short film
that encompasses a
plethora of
characteristics inherent
to the Hindu culture. The
vivid colors and
background music used
throughout the film
absolutely amplify each
and every touching scene.
I thoroughly enjoyed
watching your brilliant
film!!

Amazing insights into
a beautiful culture
captured with lots of
amusing details. The last
act offers one of the
strangest "street
performances" I ever had
the chance to watch.
Great job!

Curious... Listed here
as running for just over
5 mins, but the download
ran for just over 10 and
ends abruptly! Well shot,
but more detail to the
sound would make all the
difference on this short.
The mix is quite uneven
in parts, but I'm
wondering whether the
version I'm watching
isn't a rough edit
because it comes across
that way.
This 10 min. non-narrative documentary reflects daily life
of the people living along the river Ganga (Ganghes) in Varanasi, India.
The holy river is the fountain of life for millions of mainly
Hindu people in India and the foundation of religion and culture in many ways. This film is giving some simply beautiful but also graphic insights of this very special
union between human and nature.
A Day in Varanasi was actually unplanned and happens
to be a side product of a photography project I was working on in March 2009.
Take a look for the street & portrait photography I took
