Synopsis
In Melbourne of the 1870s, the area around Little Lonsdale Street was an infamous slum. Immigrants from around the world crammed into the dirty laneways and formed a notoriously seedy centre of Melbourne. Subsequent redevelopments have gleaned over or replaced much of the previous character in this corner of the city.
But this history returns as Mirna comes face to face with Madame Brussels as the dangerous and exciting world of the ladies of the night comes back to life one more time.
