Call for Entries for the Portable Film Festival 2009 are now closed!

Portable has closed its virtual doors and the yeasayers and naysayers will now be making their way through the mountain of films that will be digitally whittled down to the 2009 festival program!

To everyone who entered the festival this year, thanks so much for your contribution – we’ll be in touch to let you know about upcoming programming, and your upcoming battle for fame, fortune and free stuff.

And for the rest of you, it’s time to play the waiting game as the clock ticks around to August once more, and the launch of the bigger-than-big Portable Film Festival Competition 2009 inches ever closer!

Last year took in 162 films, programmed from 38 different countries, with some of the most amazing voices from international contemporary film and video – this year, we’re raising the bar again – see you in August!
